“Chef Volker created what can only be described as an unforgettably stunning banquet to support me while I was the McCahon House Parehuia artist in residence. This residency is one of the most prestigious in New Zealand and the “Gate Dinner” is the important highlight on the events calendar for that artist as 20 key supporters and industry professionals are invited to the occasion. All the attendees could not believe how fantastic the food was. The presentation, flavour and generosity of what was provided was beyond what I had expected.
